Why a Sun sign is not enough
Zodiac sign compatibility compares only the Sun - the way you see yourselves. But each of you also has a Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and an Ascendant in the birth chart, and every layer covers its own part of love: feelings, talk, tenderness, passion, staying power, the first impression.

What each layer says about a couple

Birth time and the Ascendant
The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Saturn almost never change sign within a day, so the date is enough for them. The Moon crosses a sign in two or three days: if it moved on the day of birth, the time decides its sign.
The Ascendant changes about every two hours, so it needs the exact time and the city of birth. When the time is unknown, the chart is cast for noon at the place of birth and the Ascendant layer is not shown - just like in the app.
